Natsproektstroy companies mounted the spans of the high-speed railway overpass across A108 in the Moscow Region

Natsproektstroy companies are building a railway overpass longer than 500 meters at the intersection of Moscow – St. Petersburg High–Speed Railway Line with A108 road near Klin.

Builders have already completed the installation of three metal spans of the structure, which will be located directly above the roadway. All 15 overpass supports are also ready. The remaining 11 spans will be mounted using a 'walking' double consoles gantry crane, which will install reinforced concrete beams weighing 700 tons. The beams will be manufactured at special sites, which Natsproektstroy and Russian Railways are currently building along the high-speed railway line route.

To minimize traffic restrictions and ensure safety, work on A108 road was done in stages, during night 'windows': it took up to 8 hours to install one span. The total weight of installed steel structures exceeded 600 tons. Such operations require careful coordination and precise positioning, so the builders constantly monitored the geometry of the structure and the operation of cranes during installation.

There will be no crossings on the Moscow - St. Petersburg High-Speed Railway Line: at the intersection with highways, the railway route will pass through artificial structures.
