Natsproektstroy has tested automated foundation concreting for the Moscow-St. Petersburg High-Speed Railway Line

A special feature of the high-speed railway line is the ballast–free track designed by Natsproektstroy companies. It includes several layers of high-strength concrete. The base is a reinforced foundation supporting an intermediate layer of self-compacting concrete and NGP 4.0 rail slabs.

Foundation concreting requires high precision: vertical deviations should not exceed 5 mm.

An automated system of three machines is used for concreting. The concreting speed is up to 1 meter per minute. The surveyor monitors elevations throughout the entire cycle.

After testing this technique, the specialists of Natsproektstroy will prepare a test section of the ballast–free track on Sablino - Tosno segment of Oktyabrskaya Railway. Here, the load from passing Sapsan trains will test the entire track assembly from the foundation to the rail slab.
