Natsproektstroy Uses Voice AI Assistant for Recruitment
Dorogi i Mosty and Transstroymechanizatsiya, Natsproektstroy subsidiaries are testing an Artyom voice AI assistant for recruitment processes. It handles incoming calls to recruitment hotlines, automating the initial stages of communication with candidates.

"We use AI technologies to optimize some processes within the holding. Obviously, a robot will not substitute a human professional – especially in people-related work. However, it makes this work more efficient," said Tatyana Gorlovskaya, Natsproektstroy Group Deputy CEO for Human Resources.
Artem is used for the primary screening function: it matches applicants to vacancies based on rate and schedule, fills out application forms, and books them in with a live recruiter. The system remembers applicants and, if necessary, transfers the call to an HR specialist. The AI assistant is available 24/7: at night, on weekends, and holidays it answers calls autonomously; during working hours it backs up staff when all lines are busy.
"Before launch, we tested over a dozen models. Artem learns every week: it recognises rare construction-related trades, remembers persons who made multiple calls, and screens out answering machines," said Dmitry Biryukov, Head of HR Process Digitalisation at Natsproektstroy Group.
In eight weeks of operation, Artem has handled 11,000 calls from over 4,000 applicants, conducted more than 170 hours of conversations, and answered calls in an average of 1–2 seconds. About 800 candidates have been passed on to recruiters with their questionnaires already filled.
The pilot project has already proved its worth: the technology is now ready for roll-out across other holding’s companies.
