The facility has been fitted with the MPC-EL microprocessor interlocking system. It enables remote control of turnouts and signals, setting of train routes, and monitoring of equipment parameters. A single digital circuit now encompasses 44 turnouts and 64 LED signals.

To provide a reliable power supply for the digital automation system, UPS units were installed at the station. All equipment was placed in mobile modules equipped with an automated fire suppression system.

In addition, on the Dezhnevka – Volochaevka II and Tungussky – Volochaevka II sections, the MPC-EL system has been integrated with automated locomotive signaling, which increases the capacity of these sections and ensures end-to-end automatic train passage through Volochaevka II station.

Domestic automation system is adapted to the harsh climate of the region, is protected from surges and reliably operates at extremely low temperatures. The system has a built-in cyber security system that prevents unauthorized access to digital equipment.

Volochaevka II station is located at the junction of two major railway mainlines, the Trans-Siberian and the Baikal-Amur Mainline. This major transport hub facilitates the formation of cargo flows to the ports of the Far East. Previously in the region, the MPC-EL system was installed at Izvestkovaya station.
