Commissioning has begun at Yuzhno-Yakutsk CHPP, which is being built by Natsproektstroy companies.
Turbine oil circulation has been started at GTU-1 (gas turbine unit), and the lubrication system and auxiliary systems are being tested. Next, the specialists will begin testing GTU-2, auxiliary equipment, diverters that switch the flow of flue gases, recovery boilers and a steam turbine. After the completion of commissioning, they will proceed to integrated testing of the units.
In parallel, hydraulic testing of pipelines, inspection of the plant's drainage systems and installation of ventilation equipment in the turbine hall are underway. The connection of CHPP branch gas line to the Power of Siberia main gas pipeline has also been completed. Pre–start operations are being performed - blowdown and pressure testing of gas pipelines.
After commissioning, 313 MW Yuzhno-Yakutsk CHPP will cover the shortage in the Eastern Grid System. In particular, it will electrify the Eastern Sector of Russian Railways.
