NPS Hosts Session on Unmanned Technologies at Road 2025 Expo

Natsproektstroy hosted a session titled "Unmanned Technology in Practice: Best Practices and Opportunities for Russia" at the International Road 2025 Expo in Mineralnye Vody. The discussion was moderated by Peter Geltischev, Director of Communications at NPS.
Andrey Sysuev, Deputy CEO of Natsproektstroy for Information Technology, spoke at the session, citing the testing of a smart compaction roller equipped with GLONASS on the Dyurtyuli–Achit road section as one example of how unmanned technology is being integrated into road construction.
"The primary economic benefit of the unmanned roller came not from reducing staff, but from enhanced process accuracy, which led to fewer passes, fewer errors, and lower fuel consumption and overall project time," said Sysuev.
He emphasized that the objective for Natsproektstroy companies has moved beyond pilot projects; the focus is now on achieving widespread implementation of this technology.
The session also featured presentations from representatives of government agencies, businesses, and scientific and educational institutions – including the Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor), GLONASS JSC, ROSDORNII, the Natsproektstroy Group, C-INFO LLC, the Digital Era of Transport Association, and RUT (MIIT) – who shared their advancements in unmanned technology.
Discussions covered the entire lifecycle of unmanned technology in construction and transport, from design to personnel training, with a special focus on innovations such as Moscow's driverless tram, which utilizes digital automation systems developed by NPS companies.
One of the forum's longest sessions, it concluded with a vibrant Q&A, highlighting the high level of engagement from both speakers and attendees.
