Almost One-Third of the Oka Bridge is Completed
The new bridge over the Oka River in Ryazan, being built by Natsproektstroy, is now 31% complete.

Almost 600 employees from the Ryazan branch of DiM Mostootryad‑22 are operating on a 24-hour basis on both banks of the river. More than 100 construction vehicles are being used.
On the right bank, construction of 11 supports has been completed, and the team is now installing 33‑metre reinforced concrete girders for the viaduct section. Meanwhile, the steel superstructure is being assembled on a slipway in preparation for future sliding. Over half of the steel components (1,854 tonnes out of 3,700) have already arrived on site.
Drilling has started in the river channel for the pile foundation of support No. 14, the closest to the right bank, with the first borehole already completed. A temporary service bridge is being built from the left bank to facilitate work on support No. 15.
On the left bank, bridge builders are continuing with support construction and girder installation, while road crews are building embankments at the approaches to the bridge.
The overall length of the structure, including its approach roads, is 5.8 km, with the actual bridge spanning 1.1 km. It will rest on 28 supports – 26 on the banks and 2 in the riverbed – of which 18 are now 100% ready. In total, the builders have poured over 23,000 cubic metres of concrete.
The new Oka bridge will take over traffic from the existing Solotchinsky Bridge, which was built by Mostootryad‑22 back in the 1970s.
