In the Amur Region, Bamstroymekhanizatsiya (part of GC NPS, JSC) extended the Marikhta - Lopcha section of the Tynda - Khani line. The Moroshka junction here was rebuilt into a 14.6 kilometer double-track insertion.
During the construction of the new track, mechanics processed more than 180,000 cubic meters of soil. To stabilize the track, the embankment was reinforced with a cooling pad and drainage ditches were constructed.
The railroad passes along the Nyukzha River and crosses its tributaries. Three bridges and 7 culverts were built at their crossings.
Signalling, communication and power supply systems were modernized at the section. 130 metal supports were installed for high-voltage lines. 15 modules were installed for digital equipment and heating points for railway workers.
The opening of the Marikhta - Lopcha double-track insertion together with other new facilities on the Tynda - Khani line will increase the carrying capacity of this section of the BAM from 31 to 55 million tons of freight per year.
