In the Amur Region, Bamstroymekhanizatsiya (part of GC NPS, JSC) extended the Maly BAM Belenkaya - Efremov crossing of the Tynda - Bamovskaya line. Double-track train traffic was opened on the 3 kilometer long section
To build the second track, mechanics processed 135,000 cubic meters of soil and reinforced the slopes with a cooling pad, which will preserve permafrost at the base of the embankment.
The railroad crosses the Tynda River here. A 113-meter bridge was built over the water barrier, and a culvert was installed along a tributary of the river.
The section was modernized with signalling, communication and power supply devices. 4 modules were installed for new equipment and heating points.
The traffic at the crossing will be controlled by microprocessor centralization MPTS-EL developed and manufactured by GC NPS, JSC companies. Digital automation will allow to remotely regulate the work of switches and traffic lights, make up train routes and increase the safety of transportation.
Due to the modernization of the crossing, the carrying capacity of the Tynda-Bamovskaya line, which connects the Baikal-Amur Mainline with the Trans-Siberian Railway, will increase from 25 to 51 pairs of trains per day.
