The digital sustainability study is based on monitoring the development of infrastructure, data quality, information systems and the regulatory environment of ESCAP member countries. Its goal is to ensure the sustainable development of information and communication technology in accordance with the digital cooperation roadmap of the UN Secretary General.
This study is noteworthy because the recommendations include the author's method, which is used in the transformation of Natsproektstroy, is taught in a number of Russian universities and is now recognized by the United Nations.

Ekaterina Genkina has been a guest international expert of UNESCAP since 2022. During this time, she participated in five studies and developed recommendations on change management for governments and business communities of ESCAP member countries in order to effectively introduce innovations and system development of countries and regions.

ESCAP is the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. It is the largest regional commission of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, established to promote cooperation between the member countries. Currently, it includes 53 states, including Russia, and 9 associate members.
