Located in the ice-free waters of Telyakovsky Bay, Sukhodol Port will ensure year-round navigation and access to port infrastructure for small and medium-sized coal mining companies. The project is being implemented as part of the Federal Sea Port Development Program.
GC NPS is responsible for the port's critical infrastructure, including the construction of hydraulic structures, the 220 kV Sukhodol Substation, and the installation of core technological equipment.
The first stage of the coal terminal, a high-tech complex for receiving, storing and loading coal from railway transport to sea vessels, was put into operation in 2023. In July 2024, a universal transshipment complex for general cargo was commissioned. In September 2024, Sukhodol Port received approval for handling up to 1 million tons of cargo per month.
Upon completion, the port will feature eight terminals for various types of cargo, with a projected capacity to handle around 20% of Primorsky Krai's cargo turnover.
