Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin opened the new Novomoskovskaya-Potapovo section on September 5, 2024. The 27th station on the Sokolnicheskaya Line was built by Dorogi & Mosty, a subsidiary of GC NPS.

The 315-meter-long station is part of a larger 3-kilometer infrastructure project. This includes dead-end tracks, a tunnel ramp, an above-ground passage, three depot tracks, and six pedestrian crossings (four elevated and two underground).

A key innovation is the integrated climate control system, which ensures passenger comfort year-round. This system is complemented by a sculptural installation from renowned artist Dashi Namdakov: two striking inclined columns are engineered to function as operational air ducts, seamlessly merging art with functionality. The project prioritized the use of domestically sourced materials throughout construction.
