The construction of Artyom TPP-2 was launched under the State Program for Thermal Power Development in the Far East, supporting projected growth in the region.
The plant uses modern combined cycle technology with two power units, each consisting of a gas turbine, steam turbine, and heat recovery steam generator. To provide heat supply for the city of Artyom, with its population of over 100,000 people, three hot-water boilers will be installed.
Construction began at the Eastern Economic Forum in September 2023, when GC NPS workers poured the first cubic meter of concrete for the plant's foundation. Specialists from TEK Mosenergo, Trest Gidromontazh, EnergoSK, and Ennova are executing the turnkey project, including thermal-mechanical and electrical installations.
