On Russia Day in the Kremlin, President Vladimir Putin awarded high state awards to people who have made a great contribution to the development of our country.
Nikolai Alexandrovich Russu, First Deputy CEO of Natsproektstroy Group, CEO of Mostostroy–11 JSC (part of NPS), was awarded the special insignia 'Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation'.
Vladimir Putin noted that "Nikolai Alexandrovich Russu went from an ordinary foreman to the head of one of the leading bridge-building companies in the country. He devotes all his strength, knowledge, and energy to the implementation of engineering projects that transform Russian regions, unlock their economic potential, and pursue the interests of Russia's strategic development."
Currently, Nikolai Alexandrovich oversees the entire operations team of the group, which implements major infrastructure projects, including the construction of Russia's first Moscow - St. Petersburg High-Speed Railway Line.
During his forty-five-year career in the industry, Nikolai Russu took an active part in the construction of dozens of bridges and roads. Industrial facilities, social institutions and other facilities were built in many regions of Russia under his leadership.
Nikolai Russu is also an Honored Builder of the Russian Federation, an Honorary Builder of the Tyumen Region and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra.
