Natsproektstroy acted as a partner of the finals of the High Technology Championship, which will be held from September 14 to 18 at the Intellectuallnaya Elektronika — Valdai innovative research and technology centre in Veliky Novgorod. On the holding's initiative, a future-focused competency — "Operator of Autonomous Road Construction Machinery" — has been included in the Championship programme for the first time.

The future-skills competition will bring together winners of nine regional stages of the Championship. Using a dedicated simulator, participants will demonstrate their skills in operating a roller with autonomous driving. The simulator was developed with Natsproektstroy's involvement and replicates the real-world work of an operator handling various types of materials. Experts will also assess contestants' ability to work with documentation and digital systems, and to perform equipment maintenance. Winners in this competency will be able to undertake internships at Natsproektstroy companies.

"The High Technology Championship is a platform where major employers can communicate to universities, colleges, and young people the demand for future professions that the industry already needs today. For example, no institution in the country yet trains operators of autonomous construction machinery. And yet such machines are already in use on sites — an unmanned soil roller developed by NPS and GLONASS is operating on the Moscow – St. Petersburg HSR section. By introducing a new competency into the Championship programme, we focus young people on in‑demand specialties and help them build a career trajectory," said Tatyana Gorlovskaya, Natsproektstroy Deputy CEO for Human Resources.

For Championship guests, Natsproektstroy has organised a career guidance zone where visitors can learn about modern construction professions and technologies.  An interactive area with roller models will allow visitors to try their hand at operating heavy machinery.

The High Technology Championship 2026 is dedicated to the transport industry, with contestants competing in 20 competencies. The finals will bring together 15,000 participants from all regions of Russia and 30 foreign countries.
