Specialists from Natsproektstroy have completed the concreting of the overpass superstructure as part of the fifth section of Solntsevo-Butovo-Varshavskoye Highway through the tracks of Kursk Moscow Railway (MCD-2).
The overpass has a length of 150 m (with approaches – 450 m) and 4 lanes (two in each direction). It is being built by Mostootryad-114 Branch of Roads and Bridges JSC. The steel superstructure was assembled on the slipway and launched onto the supports during the track possession, after which a layer of reinforced concrete was laid on it. The overpass will be waterproofed at the next stage.
The fifth section of the Solntsevo-Butovo-Varshavskoye Highway includes 4 artificial structures, and 9 underground and aboveground crossings. The service along one of the overpasses of the section at the intersection of Varshavskoye and Rastorguyevskoye Highways was opened in December last year.
Beyond the Varshavskoye Highway, the new Yuzhno-Lytkarinskaya Road (YLR), 45 km long, will continue the main traverse of the Solntsevo-Butovo-Varshavskoye Highway. It runs through 5 urban districts of the Moscow Region: Leninsky, Lytkarino, Lyubertsy, Ramensky and Balashikha.
