"I would like to express my gratitude to the builders, because construction projects in a metropolis like this, and especially a road construction projects, are always a major challenge. But, we are keeping to the schedule... Once the road is fully completed, it will connect the M-12 to the east and the M‑2 to the south," noted Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow Region.

The newly opened 9‑kilometer section includes two major engineering structures built by DiM Mostootryad-22, DiM Mostootryad-114, and MSK 1520 (all NPS subsidiaries).

These are a road tunnel in the town of Vidnoye, and a junction with the M‑4 Don highway and the Paveletskoye railway line. The junction includes two flyovers with a total length of approximately one kilometer, plus ramp connections. Its key feature is piers reaching heights of up to 25 meters.

Earlier, a 600-meter bridge over the Moskva River built by Mostootryad-99 as part of the same route was opened near Lytkarino. The entire Yuzhno-Lytkarinskaya Highway is scheduled to open to traffic in September 2026.
