The main structure within the section opened today is a new flyover above the Kursk direction railway tracks. Builders installed over 2,700 tonnes of steel and poured 7,500 cubic metres of concrete.

The section, which is over 5 km long, comprises five flyovers and one tunnel. The construction activities took three years. With the new interchange in place, the Moscow High-Speed Diameter will get a convenient link to the M-4 Don highway via Lipetskaya Street, cutting travel times considerably.

Alexey Krapivin also pointed out that NPS companies were involved in building several other sections of the Moscow High-Speed Diameter: "This is a large-scale project that the city entrusted to us, and as we finish another stage, we have every reason to be proud of the work accomplished."
