NPS Starts Laying Crushed Stone Base on the Ryazan Southern Bypass Road

The construction team from Transstroymechanizatsiya NPS advances to the next stage of work on the Ryazan Southern Bypass Road, with crews now placing the crushed stone roadbase. On other sections of the route, the team is continuing soil excavation, installing geotextiles, and placing the sand sub-base layer.

The sand sub-base layer is used to protect the road from moisture impact and frost heave. To date, construction personnel have laid over 116,000 cubic meters of the layer — almost half of the total planned volume.

The Ryazan Southern Bypass Road will span 26.5 kilometers, featuring four traffic lanes and a design speed of 120 km/h. The project includes three bridges, two interchanges, and six overpasses.

The work is proceeding as scheduled, involving 75 persons and 45 units of construction equipment.
