Natsproektstroy has completed the overpass sliding over MCD-2
Overpass sliding over the second Moscow Central Diameter (MCD-2) in Tsaritsyno has been completed.

The specialists of Mostootryad-4 Branch of Roads and Bridges (part of Natsproektstroy) have completed a total of seven stages of the superstructure sliding, starting in the fall of last year. During the last one, the steel structure was advanced by 26 m and landed on a support. A total of 322 meters were covered during all stages.
"Work over MCD-2 tracks is done in close cooperation of railway workers, bridge workers and the city. The specialists slided over the structure during track possession windows provided by the Moscow Railway. The complex technical operation was successfully completed on time," said Alexey Rogachev, Director of Mostootryad-4.
As explained by Vasily Desyatov, head of the Moscow Department of Transport and Engineering Infrastructure Construction, the new road segment will reduce the excess mileage of cars by two kilometers. At the same time, citizens will be able to save time traveling around the city. The quality of transport services will improve for more than 700,000 residents of the southern districts of the capital.
The overpass will provide convenient access from the side of Lipetsk Street to the new section of Moscow High-Speed Diameter – Kaspiyskaya Street, running parallel to the tracks of MCD-2. It will have two exits – one towards Tsaritsyno and Saburovo, the other towards Chertanovo and Biryulyovo.
The construction of a tunnel under Bakinskaya Street, which will run through two lanes of the expanded Kaspiyskaya Street, is also nearing completion.
