At Pro//Motion.Expo, Andrey Borodin, CEO of NPS//1520 Signal, presented promising developments of Natsproektstroy Companies for urban rail transport.
Moscow and Moscow Region are the key customers of the Group in this area. One of the significant projects is the digitalization of the Circle Line of Moscow Metro, which has significantly increased the number of trains. This required overcoming a number of infrastructural constraints, because the line was commissioned more than 70 years ago.
Natsproektstroy is introducing 'smart' point switches on tramways of the capital: using secure RF communications, such a point automatically switches to the desired route.
"In the future, we plan to replicate our tram automation solutions in Russian regions, in particular in Saratov and Kaliningrad," Andrey Borodin said.
All the technology that NPS companies are implementing on urban rail transport lines is completely domestic.
