Nikolai Russu, First Deputy CEO of Natsproektstroy and CEO of Mostostroy-11 NPS, briefed Vitaly Khotsenko, Governor of the Omsk Region, on the progress of works on the Northern Bypass of Omsk. Seven of the 14 supports are already complete on the key project's main engineering structure — the bridge across the Irtysh.
The 1.2-km bridge is being built ahead of the schedule. Mostostroy-11 personnel are now preparing for the launching of the span structures, for which the metal components are supplied by the local contractor ZMK Most. In total, 900 workers and 180 construction vehicles are used on the site.
The readiness of the small structures of the bypass's first stage has reached 60%. Utilities are being relocated and road pavements are being laid along the entire length of the future route.
Dorogi i Mosty is the general contractor for the Northern Bypass of Omsk, while the Gipro Stroy Most-SPb Institute is the designer of the structures.
