Dismantling of temporary structures of the span structure completed on the bridge of Academician Korolev

At the construction of the bridge named after Academician Korolev in the Beregovoy passage, which is being carried out by JSC “Roads and Bridges” (part of GC NPS, JSC), specialists of Mostotryad-4 dismantled temporary structures from the span structure.

The bridge workers continue to tension the cables that transfer the weight of the orthotropic slab to the arches under constant control of the measuring equipment. Representatives of the cable-stay manufacturer check the compliance with the technology, and the designers check the compliance of the tension indicators with the documentation.

At the next stage, the builders will start dismantling the temporary supports and dismantling the sheet pile fencing of the artificial peninsulas in the bed of the Moskva River.

Also on the bridge they are installing lighting masts and guardrails, continuing works on waterproofing of metal structures and building exits to Projected passage 2017.
