NPS has completed the first stage of launching the bridge superstructure across the Irtysh River on the Omsk Northern Bypass. The steel structures were advanced by 24 meters. The operation was carried out by Mostostroy-11’s Mostootryad-36.
In total, steel superstructures weighing more than 14,000 tons will be launched. The launching slips where they are assembled are located on both banks of the Irtysh River, accelerating the work.
The structure was designed by Institute Giprostroymost – SPB, with NPS-Dorogi i Mosty acting as the general contractor for the bypass. The construction is being carried out by Mostostroy-11, with steel structures supplied by ZMK Most (all part of NPS).
