More than 32,000 people are currently working on various sections of Russia’s first High-Speed Rail line connecting Moscow and St. Petersburg. Many of them are rotational workers arriving at the construction sites from all regions of Russia, spanning from the Far East to the Caucasus.
To ensure comfortable living conditions for workers away from home, NPS is building the necessary infrastructure. Fifty construction camps have already been established along the route, housing more than 20,000 workers.
Uglovka is a construction camp for NPS-Zheldorstroy workers in the Novgorod Region. It features everything needed for daily life, including three dormitories, a laundry, a dining facility, and showers. The grounds also feature a fountain, flowerbeds, and a sports ground. Next to the camp is a farm, where you can feed horses on your days off.
