Specialists from OSK 1520 (part of Natsproektstroy) have completed the installation of concourse bridge spans at MCD‑4 Zheleznodorozhnaya Station.
The last of the five spans was installed at the site the day before, it will connect the current part of the station with the Northern Concourse. The 35-meter-long steel structure weighing over 105 tons was installed using a 500-ton crane. Now the builders will have to assemble the frame and roof in this part of the bridge, install utilities, glazing and interior decoration.
The single concourse bridge of Zheleznodorozhnaya Station will become one of the largest on the fourth diameter line. It will connect Lesoparkovaya Street with Nosovikhinsky Highway, allow passengers to cross the tracks safely and provide access to all 4 platforms.
Natsproektstroy companies are conducting a large-scale renovation of MCD-4 Zheleznodorozhnaya Station. Previously, three platforms and a Southern Concourse were built here. The Northern Concourse is under construction, where cast-in-place work is underway, and the foundation is being concreted on platform 4.
