Natsproektstroy companies are renovating a section of Komsomolsk-on-Amur–Chegdomyn Highway in the Khabarovsk Region
Bamstroymechanizatsiya (part of Natsproektstroy) has begun renovation of a 17-kilometer section of Komsomolsk-on-Amur–Chegdomyn Highway in the Khabarovsk Region.

The section where the work is underway is located on 174-191 km of the highway and runs near the villages of Mogdy and Gerbi. The machine operators will have to process almost 1 million cubic meters of soil for the construction of embankments and road pavement of crushed stone. The carriageway will be 6 meters wide.
The builders will also install 22 culverts and 2 bridges across the mountain streams of Bureinsky Ridge spurs. About 80 pieces of machinery will be involved in the work.
Komsomolsk-on-Amur-Chegdomyn Regional Highway connects 17 settlements located along the eastern section of Baikal–Amur Mainline. Until recently, it was possible to drive here only through a service lane next to the railway on all-terrain vehicles. The section was accessible only in winter, when numerous rivers and streams freeze. The opening of new road sections will allow year-round traffic.
Earlier, the builders of Bamstroymechanizatsiya implemented a number of projects for the construction of highways in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Primorsky, Khabarovsk, Zabaikalsky, Krasnodar Regions, Amur and Nizhny Novgorod Regions.
