In Tynda, Bamstroy mekhanizatsiya (a subsidiary of Natsproektstroy) has started major repair on Kirova Street and Studencheskiy Proyezd. The total length of the section is 1.24 km
To keep traffic moving, the work will be done in stages, repairing one half of the roadway before moving to the other. Dump trucks, an excavator, a roller, and a motor grader are being used at the site.
Currently, the operators are removing the old asphalt layer. Then, they will proceed with the construction of the road pavement — a multi‑layer structure that forms the road base. For this purpose, frost-resistant crushed stone from the Kuryan plant is used, which retains its strength for a hundred years, even under extreme temperature fluctuations.
