Specialists of Teploelectroproekt Institute (part of Natsproektstroy) are designing Dinskaya TPP in the Krasnodar Territory. Engineering surveys have already been completed at the main construction site, and are currently underway along the gas pipeline routes. Specialists will soon begin exploration to find water sources for service water supply purposes.
Engineering surveys include geodetic, geological, geophysical surveys and micro seismic zoning. They will produce accurate information about the natural conditions of the construction site and the degree of their possible changes. Geological surveys produce data on the composition of soils, groundwater, and evaluate geological processes. The collected data, after processing, will be used to select the most optimal layout of structures, substantiate design proposals, including types of foundations.
In November 2024, the Government Commission of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Electric Power Industry approved the construction of new power facilities in the Unified Power System of Southern Russia, including Dinskaya TPP near the village of Novotitarovskaya in the Dinsky District. In April 2025, GEH Engineering and Teploelectroproekt Institute (part of NPS Group) signed a contract to design a power facility.
The project involves the construction of two CCGT units with a capacity of 235 MW each. Each power unit will include a gas turbine, a heat-recovery steam generator, and a steam condensing turbine. The entire scope of design is scheduled to be completed in the 4th quarter of 2026.
The combined-cycle thermal power plant with a total capacity of 470 MW will run on natural gas. It will reduce the shortage of electric power in the region, which constantly increases power consumption.
