GC NPS, JSC of Companies plans to build a plant in the Novgorod region to produce reinforced concrete products. The enterprise will become the key supplier of materials for the country's first high-speed railroad Moscow - St. Petersburg.

The corresponding agreement was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Alexey Krapivin, General Director of GC NPS, JSC, and Alexander Dronov, Acting Governor of the Novgorod Region.
"The creation of the country's first HSL is a powerful development impetus for the entire domestic transportation industry. The project requires high-tech solutions both at the construction stage and in terms of production of materials and components. The plant in Veliky Novgorod, where we plan to automate a significant part of the production process, will become just such an innovative site. Professionals of the highest qualification will be involved in working with such class equipment," Alexey Krapivin noted.
"The establishment of a modern plant in the Novgorod region is an important step in the development of our economy and a key element in the construction of the HSL. We are pleased that we will be the place where a significant part of materials for the construction of such an important highway will be produced. This will attract additional investments, create new highly qualified jobs and give an impetus to the development of related industries", - said Alexander Dronov, the Acting Governor.
The total investment in the project is estimated at 12 billion rubles. More than 800 jobs will be created. The launch of production is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.
The new plant is planned to produce reinforced concrete slabs required for the ballastless superstructure of the High-Speed Railway, as well as polymer materials to protect the structure from damage.
It is assumed that the plant in Veliky Novgorod will meet up to two thirds of the annual demand for slabs for elevated railroad tracks and elevated highway subgrade. More than 100 thousand assembly units and more than 3.6 million square meters of elastic layer can be produced here annually.
The project of the plant construction was unanimously approved by the Supervisory Board of SEZ SPT “Novgorodskaya”. The production will be located on a 20 hectare plot of land, where it is planned to build a production building with an area of more than 79 thousand square meters.
