GC NPS, JSC's companies extended the crossing with BAM's largest new bridge

In the Amur Region, Bamstroymekhanizatsiya (part of GC NPS, JSC) extended the Taluma-Dyugabul crossing of the Tynda-Khani line.
Here, the Chelyabinskiy passing-track was rebuilt into a 15.2 kilometer-long double-track insertion.
The new double-track section runs along the Nyukzha River and crosses it at 2049 kilometers of BAM. Across the Nyukzha River, specialists from GC NPS, JSC companies built a 392-meter bridge, the longest of those built during the second stage of the Eastern polygon development.

To ensure the safety of train traffic, unstable rocky slopes in the bends to Nyukzha were covered with a metal mesh with the area of 64 thousand square meters - this will protect the tracks from rockfalls.

Under the second track mechanizers processed 19 thousand cubic meters of soil. 110 thousand cubic meters of rock were used for cooling blanket. A “blanket” of rock on the slopes of the embankment will preserve permafrost at the base of the railroad and prevent subsidence.

At the crossing the signalling, communication and power supply devices were modernized, 81 metal supports for high-voltage lines were installed, 153 kilometers of cables were laid.

12 modules were installed for new equipment and heating points for railroad workers.

Development of the Tynda-Khani line with construction of second tracks and double-track inserts will increase its carrying capacity from 30.8 to 54.6 million tons of cargo per year.
