The traffic on Novomoskovskaya – Potapovo section was opened by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin on 5 September 2024. The 27th station on the Sokolnicheskaya Line was built by Roads and Bridges Company of Natsproektstroy.

In addition to the station itself, which is 315 metres long, the facility includes dead ends, a tunnel and ramp section, an above-ground section and three connecting branches to the electric engine house, 4 above-ground and 2 underground pedestrian crossings: a total of about 3 kilometres. The floor space is larger than two football pitches.

The station was built using cutting-edge technology. The station has a heating and air conditioning system to maintain a comfortable temperature all year round.

Part of it is the art piece in the centre of the station: two inclined columns by Russian sculptor Dashi Namdakov. Inside the columns are ducts and other engineering equipment.

Almost all materials used in construction are domestic.
