The role of digital solutions discussed at SPIEF
Digital solutions for industry and cities, the specifics of their development and mutual integration were discussed by participants in a conference organized by GC NPS, JSC and Kommersant as part of SPIEF.
The discussion was moderated by Petr Geltischev, Director of the Communications Department of GC NPS, JSC.
One of the issues discussed was developments in the field of transportation. According to Konstantin Khromushkin, director of the railway automation and telemechanics division of SC NPS, the development of rail transportation helps to solve the problems of traffic jams and environmental impact associated with urban growth.
"The basic human need in the city is to get safely from point A to point B, preferably on time and in comfort. To ensure this, Moscow uses different modes of transportation - metro, streetcars, MCD and MCC integrated into a single network. For each type, GC NPS, JSC offers digital solutions that increase the reliability of transportation. When implementing smart systems, it is important to link them together and avoid failures caused by external influences. GC NPS, JSC’s developments are equipped with cyber protection, which excludes access to digital devices by intruders," said Konstantin Khromushkin.
One of the holding company's latest projects is the development of an unmanned streetcar in the capital. The system developed by GC NPS, JSC companies allows for automatic transfer of arrows on the route, minimizing human involvement.
GC NPS, JSC’s digital developments go beyond the sphere of transportation. For example, the universal digital Platform 2.0 solves automation problems for all types of transportation and can be successfully applied in any industry.
