GC NPS, JSC will build a new Rogachevsky Bridge

State contract No. 1/2025-03 has been awarded to Roads and Bridges JSC (a subsidiary of GC NPS, JSC) and the Moscow Region State Unitary Enterprise Road Construction Directorate (GKU MO DDS) for the reconstruction of the Spiridovo – A-104 Moscow – Dmitrov – Dubna – Dmitrov – Moscow Major Ring Road and Professionalnaya Street in Dmitrov urban district, Moscow Region. The project includes the reconstruction of the bridge over the Moscow Canal.

The contract provides for the construction of the first stage of the bridge over the Moscow Canal next to the existing Rogachevsky Bridge. The existing Rogachevsky Bridge was built in 1936 and rebuilt in 1942. It is now in a pre-emergency condition with restrictions on the size and capacity of vehicles.

The total length of the new bridge is 211 m and the roadway area is 2661 m2. The weight of steel structures of the span structure is 1446 tons, and the volume of monolithic concrete is 3870 m3. The contract also calls for the removal of the existing bridge and construction of an overpass over the railroad crossing.

The project of the new artificial structure was approved by Glavgosexpertiza (General Board of State Expert Review) in December 2024. The contract completion term is 2029. Construction of the bridge will be carried out by Mostootryad-90, a branch of DiM JSC, whose production base is located in Dmitrov.

The new bridge will solve the problem of ensuring the safety of road traffic, navigation on the canal, railroad crossing, guarantee trouble-free supply of drinking water to Moscow, improve transport connectivity of Dmitrov city and Dmitrov district.
