The railway infrastructure of the complex comprises six tracks, each extending 1.1 km, facilitating the simultaneous reception and processing of two train formations without the need of decoupling. The unloading time for one train is about three hours.
The digitalization project was implemented in the shortest possible time. Train operations within the confines of the nation's largest logistics center will be governed by a cutting-edge MPC-EL microprocessor-based interlocking system, incorporating 11 switches and 16 signal devices. The import-independent development of GC NPS, JSC companies will ensure reliable and efficient freight transportation.
The Deng Xiaoping Logistics Complex, Russia's largest logistic center, is located in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone. The projected annual throughput capacity of the terminal is in excess of 100,000 containers, corresponding to 2.4 mln tons of freight.
The complex will integrate logistics between China and the Volga Federal District, providing services for cargo storage, order management, and the formation of product batches. It will also facilitate multimodal transportation, integrating road and rail freight, with air transport planned for the future.
