Staff shortage dominates among the factors constraining production growth. Tatiana Gorlovskaya, Deputy General Director for Human Resources at GC NPS, JSC, presented solutions at the PRO Bitumen and PBB conference for ensuring a sufficient supply of skilled workers for infrastructure construction projects, addressing the current negative trend.

"The solution to the shortage of personnel will be to increase labor productivity through the widespread use of information technology. Moreover, we must adopt lean manufacturing principles and provide ongoing training to our workforce," Tatiana Gorlovskaya emphasized.

In Tatiana's view, the most significant challenge facing employers is the scarcity of young professionals in technical disciplines, a trend that is anticipated to accelerate.

GC NPS, JSC is employing several strategies to attract graduates to the industry, including organizing forums and competitions for students and schoolchildren, implementing professional training programs for skilled trades, advanced training programs based in engineering classes, and targeted university programs. Career guidance initiatives include: the production and distribution of the film Roads, a documentary depicting the work of machinery operators, which has received endorsement from the Ministry of Education for screening in schools.

It's not enough to attract employees, it's important to retain them. For this purpose, the company implements the Well-Being Program, which includes training, corporate events, sports competitions, and corporate discounts.
