In the Amur Region, GC NPS, JSC’s companies extended the BAM Elgakan - Zayachy crossing
In the Amur Region, double-track train traffic was opened on the BAM Elgakan - Zayachy crossing. The section was modernized by Bamstroymekhanizatsiya (part of GC NPS, JSC).
6.75 km of second tracks were built on the section, for which mechanics processed about 75 thousand cubic meters of soil. In order to preserve permafrost at the base of the embankment and prevent subsidence, the slopes were protected with a cooling pad - large rocks. Three bridges and 5 culverts were built at the intersection with tributaries of the Nyukzhi River.
Additional 5 switches equipped with air blowing systems were laid on the section, more than 100 kilometers of cables were laid, 73 supports for high-voltage lines were installed, communication and power supply systems were renewed. 10 modules were installed for new signaling equipment and heating points for railway workers.
Train traffic at the stations is controlled by microprocessor-based centralization MPC-EL designed and manufactured by GC NPS, JSC.
Modernization of the Tynda-Khani line with construction of second tracks and double-track inserts will increase its carrying capacity from 30.8 to 54.6 million tons of cargo per year.
