GC NPS, JSC to build Omsk Northern Bypass

On the site of SPIEF-2025, JSC Roads and Bridges (part of GC NPS, JSC) and INFRAGCHP-A LLC (GPB-Infrastructure Holding) signed an agreement on the construction of the Omsk Northern Bypass highway.
The document was signed by Mikhail Grigoriev, General Director of JSC “DiM”, and Konstantin Popov, Head of LLC “INFRAGCHP-A”, Vice President of Gazprombank. The project will be implemented on the basis of public-private partnership, in the form of a concession. The design documentation for the construction of the toll expressway has already received a positive conclusion of the state expert examination.

"GC NPS, JSC has considerable experience in successful implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects on PPP terms. We are ready to start work in the near future, so that traffic could be opened on this section as early as 2028," said Mikhail Grigoriev.

"This signing is a worthy continuation of the long-standing cooperation between #MEGAIGROK and GC NPS, JSC, one of the largest full-cycle construction holdings in Russia, which has proven its ability to successfully implement ambitious projects of national importance. I am confident that the partnership will be mutually beneficial and will serve as an essential condition for the smooth realization of the long-awaited project", - said Konstantin Popov.
The large-scale project includes the construction of two bridges over the Irtysh and Om, as well as five interchanges and nineteen overpasses.

“Northern bypass” will connect two federal highways to bypass the city. The section will run from the highway “Tyumen - Omsk” near the village of Kamyshlovsky to the junction with the highway “Omsk - Novosibirsk” near the village of Zelenaya Roshcha. It will become one of the segments of the M-12 “Vostok” (“Moscow - Tyumen”) road under construction, as well as part of a promising route from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok with access to China and Mongolia.

The road will reduce the mileage of transit traffic along the Tyumen - Novosibirsk route by more than twenty kilometers, reduce the environmental load on the regional center and develop the logistics potential of the entire region.
