GC NPS, JSC companies expanded the Fedoseyev-Belenkaya railroad crossing on Maly BAM

In the Amur Region, train traffic on the Fedoseyev-Belenkaya crossing was switched to double-track mode on the Maly BAM. Bamstroymekhanizatsiya (part of GC NPS, JSC) performed the modernization of another section between the Trans-Siberian Railway and Tynda.
To widen 6 kilometers of the railroad, mechanics processed more than 200 thousand cubic meters of soil. The embankment was covered with cooling rock, which will preserve permafrost at the base of the railroad and prevent track subsidence. 7 bridges were built at the intersection with the tributaries of the Tynda River, along which the main line runs.

At Belenkaya station and 139 km track post, microprocessor-based centralization MPTs-EL developed and manufactured by GC NPS, JSC companies was introduced. Russian digital automation will increase the safety of train traffic.

Due to the modernization, the carrying capacity of the Tynda-Bamovskaya line will increase from 25 to 55 million tons of cargo per year. This will make it possible to ensure the export of coal from the fields of Southern Yakutia, as well as to redirect freight flows from the Trans-Siberian to BAM and vice versa.
