GC NPS, JSC digitized train traffic control in the new Stolbovo electric depot
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin opened the Stolbovo electric depot, which was built for the trains of the Troitskaya and, in the future, Sokolnicheskaya lines of the Moscow Metro. The depot will be controlled by digital automation developed and manufactured by GC NPS, JSC.
The MPC-EL microprocessor-based centralization system was implemented at the facility. For this purpose, specialists from GC NPS, JSC companies performed a full cycle of works: design, equipment supply, construction and commissioning. 41 switches and 45 traffic lights were connected to the digital system.
Russian automation will regulate the operation of the devices, control parameters and detect pre-failure states.
Built-in cyber protection will prevent unauthorized access to the digital equipment.
Stolbovo electric depot will be able to service up to 10 thousand cars per year. The launch of the facility will ensure the operation of new sections of the Troitskaya metro line.
“Stolbovo” is the fifth electric depot of the Moscow Metro, where the microprocessor centralization of GC NPS, JSC has been implemented.
