GC NPS, JSC companies expanded the western approach to Tynda station

In the Amur Region, Bamstroymekhanizatsiya (part of Natsproektstroy) extended the western approach to Tynda station. Train traffic was opened on the second track at the Kuryan - track post 2342 km of the Tynda - Khani line.
For this purpose, mechanics processed more than 300 thousand cubic meters of soil, built 7 bridges and 4 culverts. The artificial structures were erected taking into account the sharp rise in the water level in the tributaries of the Getkan River. In order to preserve permafrost at the base of the earth bed, the embankment was reinforced with geotextiles and covered with cooling rock. Along the railroad, drainage ditches were developed and protected with geomembrane.

The section was upgraded with signalling, communication and power supply devices, over 200 kilometers of cables were laid, over 90 metal supports for power lines, modules for equipment and heating points for railway workers were installed.

Kurian - track post 2342 km was united with the neighboring section to Tynda station, where double-track traffic was opened earlier. Now trains run on two tracks from Kuryan to Tynda.

The development of the western approach to the BAM capital will increase the carrying capacity of the largest railroad junction of the Far Eastern Railway, as well as the Tynda - Khani line from 30.8 to 54.6 million tons of freight per year.
