A new railway station has been opened in Grozny
Today in the mode of teleconference KTO opened a new train station in Grozny.
The transportation complex was built according to the project of the Novosibirsk branch of Roszheldorproekt (part of GC NPS, JSC).
The area of the new hub is more than 3 thousand m², it unites railway, city and public transportation.
A unique canopy rises above the station complex, which has no analogues for areas with seismicity of 9 points. The center of the architectural composition is a clock tower decorated with patterns. Its height is 67 meters.
The station can accommodate 350 passengers at a time. For their convenience, comfortable waiting rooms, a spacious ticket office, toilets, modern navigation, warning and video surveillance systems were equipped. For passengers with disabilities provided ramps, elevator, specialized bathrooms, means of tactile, visual and audio information.
The station was built in a densely built-up area. The Grozny-City business complex and the Heart of Chechnya mosque are nearby. The new station complex with a tower should become another landmark of the city.
