Power units 13 and 16 of Surgut SDPP-1, the oldest power plant in Western Siberia, are being upgraded as part of priority investment projects under the state programme for competitive upgraded capacity auction.
The TPP power unit upgrade project includes replacement of steam turbines, turbogenerators, auxiliary heat and mechanical and electrical equipment, APCS equipment, relay and automatic control systems, as well as installation of new power transformers. For this project, Natsproektstroy specialists are performing a range of design and supply of main and auxiliary equipment, construction, installation and commissioning.
After replacing the condensing turbine with a cogeneration turbine at Unit 13, the unit will have an installed capacity of 190 MW and a heat capacity of 148 Gcal/h. After replacing the condensing turbine of Unit 16, its installed capacity will increase by 5 MW to 215 MW.
