Representative of Group of companies GC NPS, JSC Speaks at Business Infrastructure Initiatives Forum

Vladimir Volkov, First Deputy Director General of DiM JSC (a member of GC NPS, JSC), spoke about the prospects and difficulties involved in the construction of Moscow – St. Petersburg high-speed railway at the Business Infrastructure Initiatives Forum.

According to Vladimir Volkov, “The high-speed railway will be a real challenge for builders. The construction of the roadbed will require special engineering solutions due to the complex geological conditions between Moscow and St. Petersburg. At certain stages, a lot of extra people and equipment will have to be engaged. Moreover, the project has pretty tight deadlines. GC NPS, JSC is well-positioned to perform such tasks, has necessary resources and competencies".

Vladimir Volkov also noted that the construction of the high-speed railway will give an additional impetus to the development of the regions through which it will run. Business Infrastructure Initiatives Forum is a platform that provides a venue for heads of federal authorities and development institutions, and infrastructure market leaders to discuss the most pressing construction issues in Russia.
